THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN - SAY THEIR NAMES

They are not forgotten. Their stories matter. Their voices matter. Their legacy matters
This is what happened.
In 2025, under the 6th Administration of the House of God Church Keith Dominion, headed by Clary Butler Sr., entire elderly church communities were displaced and left spiritually unhoused.
Where is the love?
Many of us watched in disbelief as elderly members, widows, longtime saints, and faithful supporters of the church found themselves abandoned by the very institution they helped build. These are people who gave decades of service, sacrifice, prayer, labor, and financial support. They carried this church on their backs.
We were concerned because they appeared unconcerned.
Jesus instructed us to care for the elderly, the widows, the poor, and the orphaned. When we saw those most vulnerable being overlooked, we stepped in.
Today, we ask you to remember them. Read their names. Say their names.
If someone on this list nurtured your spiritual life, prayed for your family, taught your children, encouraged you through difficult times, or helped build the church you call home, then your voice is needed now.
And these are just the elderly.
Now think about who else was in those sanctuaries. Entire families. Children. Grandchildren. Generations of people whose lives were connected to these churches. Every name on this list represents a much larger story. A family. A legacy. A community.
These were not just buildings. They were places where people worshipped, celebrated, mourned, married, raised children, and cared for one another. When these communities were displaced, the impact reached far beyond the elderly.
Although they may have been forgotten by the 6th Administration, they have not been forgotten by God.
God knows their names.
As members gather in Nashville for the General Assembly Annual Meeting, you deserve to know the whole truth. The members affected by these decisions are there. Find them. Talk to them. Listen to their stories. Ask them one simple question:
"How can I help?" Join the fight. Protect the elderly. Preserve the sacred.
Because a church that forgets its people risks forgetting its purpose.
