Reflections, context, and conversations about elders, community, sacred space, and governance.
This space exists for honest conversation.
Let’s Talk is where we share reflections, observations, and context around the issues facing elders, congregations, and communities when sacred spaces are removed from community stewardship. These pieces are written to inform, invite dialogue, and encourage thoughtful engagement especially for those who want to understand what is happening beyond headlines or assumptions.
Some posts will explore patterns we are seeing across communities. Others will reflect on history, governance, stewardship, and the lived experiences of elders who are too often left out of the conversation. This is not a space for accusation or speculation. It is a space for clarity, care, and truth.

To protect elders, communities, and ongoing work, specific churches, individuals, and sensitive details may not always be named. This does not diminish the reality of what is shared. It reflects a commitment to responsibility, care, and integrity.
These conversations matter because silence has consequences. Understanding is often the first step toward meaningful action.
